South East London contains 5 different boroughs; Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Bexley, and Bromley. The area fluctuates in terms of property prices, East Dulwich and parts of Southwark are on the higher end, while areas such as Peckham have more affordable prices when compared to the ever inflating market of London.
Southwark enjoys a central location, allowing easy access to virtually anywhere in the city, and plays host to the spectacular Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, and the London Dungeons. Greenwich has an important maritime history, and is one of the five boroughs of the London Docklands, often connecting commuters to Canary Wharf and the surrounding areas. Bexley used to be an ancient parish of Kent, and has retained much of the era’s beautiful historical architecture. Bromley is a popular destination for shoppers, with a wide range of shops and shopping centres, while Lewisham is home to the avidly supported Millwall F.C.
